ALBUM LAY-OUT PROCESS:
ORDERING PICTURES ON-LINE USING THE ON-LINE GALLERY
! After an event, your images will be posted on-line. Each image contains a shopping cart at the
bottom. Any image may be ordered for your album. To select you images, simply click on the shopping cart at the bottom of the desired image. This will open another window with different sizes and prices for reprints, this will also include the category for ordering prints and book included in your purchased wedding package. Select the item with “$0, item included in the package.” Repeat this process until you have selected all the images that you would like for your album. Please select suggested 35 images for your album for a better lay-out. It should not have any amount due at the end of the selection process. At the end of the ordering process, please type in at the customer’s note area that this is for your album. Indicate the size and how many pages and if there’s any message you would like us to know such as pictures that needing extra editing as to make it b/w, crop etc. and the image number. Send this order to us. The ordering page will give you instruction. You may put a method of payment as “check.” Once, it is sent, it should send you an e-mail with a copy of your order. This is a confirmation that it was sent to us. If you have not received the copy of your order, it was not processed correctly and you may need to redo it again. TIP: Save the images on your favorites for back up or print your order form with your selected image. Please also send us any words such as vows, poetry, lyrics of a song, name lists etc. that you wanted to be in your album. Please e-mail those to us via an attachment using word and indicate which moment you wanted us to use it. Example:
Please place our vows when we are introduces as husband and wife.
LAY-OUT PRODUCTION
Once our studio receive your order, we will start to do the lay-out and editing process for your
album. This process may take up to 2-6 weeks or longher depending on the volume of studio album production, images chosen and editing requests. Heavy digital editing may take longer.
PROOFING THE LAY-OUT
When we are done with your lay-out, you may: Set up a appointment to see the lay-out with us or
preview the lay-out on-line. If you chose to preview it with us, we will need for you to have ample time with us and not to bring any important event on that day as this may take a long time. The time is dependent on how many changes you are requesting. We will try to do all the changes with you on that day. Each modified lay-out will be printed and you will write “ok to print” with your signature and date to have it printed and bind for the final book. If you choose to preview on-line, you will see the album as if it is open in very law resolution ( THE BEST WAY IS TO COME OVER). You will have
a spread page proof. Each page has a portion below where you can write the changes for each page. We require that you describe the image location you would like to change and the image description. Example. Picture on the Right upper corner, Bride and Groom Dancing, please change in B/W and crop the hands. Once you have made changes, we will reedit based on your specification, page by page. Because this process is tedious and time sensitive, we only allow one time change. If you do not wish to change the lay-out and print it as is, please type “ok to print” and your initial. We will make all of the changes you indicated the best ability that we have. Please consider the vertical and horizontal aspect of each image as this may affect the whole lay-out. Because we would like to provide you the best product that we can offer for your day,, your attention is necessary on this production phase. Your changes must be done within 60 days of lay-out. If we
have not received any changes within the time specified, your album will be printed and bind as is per
indicated to your contract.
IV – PRINTING AND BINDING
! Printing and binding can take anywhere from 5-12 weeks after the final lay-out approval. In some
cases it may take less than the amount of time indicated. We will notify you by phone or e-mail once it is
ready for pick-up. It may be shipped to you, SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST IS NOT INCLUDED AND
THEREFORE SHOULD BE PAID IN ADVANCED BEFORE IT CAN BE SHIPPED. If your album is unclaimed
for 60 days, you will forfeit your album and monies and your album will be used as studio sample as indicated
in our event contract.
Album Process:
1. Select images on-line via on-line gallery. www.castaldostudio.com then “proofs”. E-mail us songs, vows,
words names, etc. that you wanted to use in your album. Indicate part where you wanted it the words.
2. Studio produce lay-out 2-6 weeks
3. On-line previewing or one-on-one lay-out preview. Change any lay-out image or editing requests, 1 time
page by page change. www.castaldostudio.com then “view albums”.
4. Approval of final lay-out in paper copy or via website.
5. Printing and Binding 5-12 weeks or less.
6. 60 days to claim the album either by pick up or shipping. If being shipped, pay shipping first or provide
your courier account.
