My Italian Friend! Jackie and I
were looking through our wedding
album this weekend and we just
could not believe how wonderful

From the time I met Domenico and his
wife, I knew they were going to be the
photographers for my wedding. I ran home
to let my fiancé know how professional
and efficient they were. Above all of
these, they were very sweet people. They
had everything laid out for me so I
could have a visual of their work. He

Most photography studios today seem to
be assembly-line operations. Throw
up the blue background ("it brings out
their eyes"), sit the kid on that white
shag carpet, toss out the little ladder,
turn his head just so, snap five
pictures and away we go. You could
put pictures of 10 kids in a row there
and forget whose is yours...they all
look alike. When I have my kids
photographed, I want their uniqueness to
be captured. I want a silly grin,
a shy smile, a curious look, a soft
profile...all of the looks my children
have that I love so much. The
looks that make them one of a kind.
This is what Domenico can do. He
can see beyond the "say cheese" smile
and connect purely with the heart.
This is what makes his photographs so
valuable to me...and it's what brings me
back again and again. Thanks,

Mr.
Domenico, I'm Rumi's cousin in Japan. All the pictures are
full of precious expressions, especially the one Rumi is
looking at the mirror. Very natural.
I also love the photo of Grandfather having fun.I tried
to shoot photos at my friends weddings in the past, I'm
an amature of course but I enjoyed taking candit shots
when people are not really aware of beingphotographed. I
didn't want to take formal photos. Gather everybody and
say "Cheese!" I think those photos are somewhat boring.I
admire the technique and talent that you have to capture
the special moments in most natural ways.Please continue
to do what you have been doing.
